If you haven’t seen Keith Donnelly, he has been described as a very [very!] funny, globe-trotting, Geordie tall-tale-telling-singer-songwriter-guitarist, who, according to Jasper Carrott, could make sheep laugh!
We asked Keith to describe himself. ‘Well’, he said, ‘I’m a sort of stand-up comic, fall-down comedian, surreal snigger-songwriter, guitar-hero, performance-artist, [tall] story-teller, philophoser, scriptwriter, [none can] compere, man-of-mystery, inner-childminder, actor, stuntman, metaphysical-poet, human ping-pong ball …… ‘ (He’s still going!)
Keith says he loves performing – we hope so. He will be doing a solo set for us as well as appearing with Flossie as ‘Dark Horses’ and Les Barker as ‘Idiot and Friend’ – and perhaps even alongside storyteller Ursula Holden Gill for a workshop or two!
